Giselle is a thesis film written and directed by Joanna Brooks. Loosely adapted from the ballet, this short film tells the story of the beautiful Giselle and the wealthy Albert who pursues her intently, only to discover what powers she withholds even after she's dead.

Deep Ellum

Deep Ellum is a thesis documentary short film produced and directed by Emily Cardone-Dennis. Set to film in June 2013, the documentary will explore a neighborhood in Dallas, TX whose economic improvement depends heavily on maintaining its history that is told through its art, music, and architecture.
